Kick your applesauce up a notch with Bell’s seasoning! Makes a great holiday side dish or a delicious snack any time of year.

Ingredients

Serving size: 4 cups

3 lbs Apples, peeled, cored and quartered
1/2 cup Apple cider
1/2 cup Maple syrup or sugar
1/4 tsp. Salt
2 tsp. Bells Seasoning

Directions

Print
  1. Combine apples, apple cider and maple syrup in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
  2. Reduce heat to low and simmer for about 25 minutes or until apples are very tender, stirring occasionally. Puree with a hand blender or process in batches in a food mill or food processor until smooth. For chunkier applesauce, crush the apple mixture with a potato masher.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in Bell’s Seasoning. Cool and refrigerate until ready to serve.
